Olympus - Linen Pouch Kogin Sampler Kit - Blue and Beige

Kogin or Koginzashi (こぎん刺し) is a type stitching related to sashiko. Kogin is done only on the warp (horizontal part of the fabric) and is a type of counted stitch that produces beautiful designs.

This kit includes supplies to make a lovely decorated kinchaku pouch. Last photo shows other kit available from this line.

Finished size of pouch: 17.5cm x 15cm (7" x 6").

INCLUDED in this kit: beige linen fabric, cotton/linen backing fabric, dark blue kogin thread, and a needle.
