Olympus - Fundo Tsunagi Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - White

This is a pre-printed piece of White cotton fabric with a design of "Fundo-tsunagi", Japanese balance weights. Sashiko is a traditional Japanese style of stitching.

Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this cloth sampler with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.

The fabric measures 13.4" x 13.4" (34 cm x 34 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
