KimonoMomo - Asanoha Cotton Sashiko Fukin Sampler Kit - Navy

KimonoMomo's ultimate beginner's kit with each item selected by Carol - an easy and fun starting point which will hopefully lead you to design your own sashiko patterns one day! Each item is available separately in our store.

This kit has Yokota's pre-printed piece of Navy Blue cotton with a pattern of design #202 Asanoha, six-pointed star or hemp leaf, very handy for learning sashiko.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.

The fabric measures 12.75" x 12.75" (31 cm x 31 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

INCLUDED in this kit: washout ink cloth sampler, English instructions, palm thimble, thread and two sizes of needles.
