This 100% cotton sashiko thread is Prepared for Dye (PFD) - which means it has been bleached for a clean white, but has not been treated to resist dye (our regular white threads will not take up dye).

Sold by the single skein or in a bulk package of 10 skeins.

IMPORTANT: this product is for DYERS specifically. If you use this product undyed for regular stitching it will pick up dye from other sources, such as the fabric you're using, or washing with other dye-bleeding items in the laundry. We sell plenty of other white threads that have already been pre-treated to resist fugitive dyes. Please stitch responsibly.
