Olympus - Wood Bowl Pin Cushion Kogin Sampler Kit - Pink and Purple

Kogin or Koginzashi (こぎん刺し) is a type stitching related to sashiko. Kogin is done only on the warp (horizontal part of the fabric) and is a type of counted stitch that produces beautiful designs.

This kit includes supplies to make a kogin decorated pin cushion. Last photo shows other kits available from this line.

Finished size of wood bowl pin cushion: 6.5cm diameter x 5cm tall (2.5" diameter x 2" tall).

INCLUDED in this kit: white linen fabric, variegated pink/purple kogin thread, needle, batting, and wooden bowl.
