Olympus - Twisted Plum Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - White

Twisted Plum - three plum blossoms with linked asanoha (six-pointed star). This is a pre-printed piece of White cotton fabric with a traditional Japanese design. It's very handy for learning sashiko stitching.

Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this cloth sampler with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.

The fabric measures 13.4" x 13.4" (34 cm x 34 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
