Olympus - Pray Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth 'Ayufish Collection' - White

This is a pre-printed piece of White 100% cotton fabric with a sashiko pattern of "Pray" designed by sashiko artist AYUFISH Int. collection which has a modern design inspired by traditional patterns. You can enjoy modern textile sashiko patterns that are different from traditional patterns by using pattern stitching, single stitching, and understitching techniques.

Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this cloth sampler with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.

The fabric measures 13" x 13" (33 cm x 33 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
