Olympus - Mt. Fuji and Cherry Blossom Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - Green

This is a pre-printed piece of light GREEN colored cotton with a pattern of Mt. Fuji and sprays of cherry blossoms (sakura), very handy for learning sashiko stitching.

The fabric measures 13" x 13" (34 cm x 34 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this kit with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
