Olympus - Koi Pond Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - Navy

This is a pre-printed piece of navy blue 100% cotton with a pattern of fish swimming in a pond, very handy for learning sashiko stitching. Color is navy blue and the dye will not bleed.

Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this cloth sampler with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.

The fabric measures 12" x 12" (31 cm x 31 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
