Olympus - Dragonfly Tombo Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - Yellow

This is a pre-printed piece of yellow cotton with a pattern of Tombo, or dragonflies, very handy for learning sashiko stitching.

Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this cloth sampler with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.

The fabric measures 12" x 12" (31 cm x 31 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.

This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
