Maito - Natural Dyed Cotton Sashiko and Kogin Thread 70m Skein - Variegated Yellow Olive/Gray

Hand dyed in Tokyo, Japan by an artist working with botanical dyes to bring out soft, subtle, and vibrant colors. Plants used include cherry blossoms, alder, rose, madder, chestnut, mulberry, and indigo.

70 meters. Color YE/KA - Variegated yellow and olive brown/gray. Similar to color KA which is more of a Variegated olive green. New “monochrome” colors were introduced in 2021. Photos 3 and 4 show the newer colors on the right (blue lettering).

Each skein is hand dyed and colors may vary slightly from batch to batch.
