Fujix - Cotton Thread Hand Dyed with Persimmon - #4 Russet Red Brown Sparrow Head

Fujix makes the most beautiful threads, and here is a real treat. Hand dyed in persimmon tannin (Kakishibu - 柿渋), a traditional Japanese technique that makes rich wood-toned hues, these threads are perfect for working with vintage indigo cottons. They may be used for sashiko but are thinner than most standard sashiko threads.

Color #4 is a rich russet red-brown shade. The last photo shows #4 second from the top.

Each skein is 20 meters long, size #6. Sashiko thread is closer to size #8.
