This is a pre-printed piece of fabric with a pattern of Asanoha (traditional hemp leaves, or interlinked stars), very handy for learning sashiko.
Choose from white or navy blue fabric.
The second photo shows an example of what you'll find in the package.

Instructions are in Japanese and English.
The fabric measures approximately 13" x 13" (34 cm x 34 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.
A 'fukin' is a small hand towel that is stitched through both layers.
You can complete this pattern with one 40m skein of sashiko thread.
