What are the Acoustic Discs?

The SteinMusic Acoustic Discs are compact, passive acoustic elements that enhance the spatial imaging and naturalness of music systems. They specifically act on disturbing reflections in the listening room, creating a more relaxed and detailed soundscape – without any structural modifications.

How do they work?

The discs use a special material structure and geometry to subtly influence sound waves. This optimizes the relationship between direct sound and room reflections. The result is clearer localization of instruments and voices, greater depth layering, and a freer, more natural presentation of music in the room.

Who are the Acoustic Discs for?

The Acoustic Discs are intended for users who wish to improve the acoustic character of their room without major acoustic renovations. They are equally suitable for private living spaces, listening studios, or demonstration rooms.

Placement

The SteinMusic Acoustic Discs can be placed at different positions in the room to specifically influence various aspects of sound reproduction.

On the side walls, for example, placing them about 30 to 40 centimeters below the ceiling creates a more open and wider soundstage. Positioned behind the loudspeakers, the discs enhance depth layering and improve the resolution of higher levels.

Mounted on the ceiling, centered between the loudspeakers and the listening position, they further open up the sound image and add transparency to the playback.

At ear level next to the speakers, they broaden the stereo image. Finally, when distributed symmetrically throughout the room, they create a particularly coherent and balanced reproduction, especially in larger spaces.
